Aman Batra received M.Sc. degree in Embedded Systems Engineering from University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE), Germany in April 2017. From Dec 2015 – Aug 2016, he worked as a student research assistant (SHK) in Department of Communication Technologies, UDE on implementation of hardware and software design on System on Chip (SoC) and building embedded Linux drivers for Software Defined Radio. Main objective of this project was to build a low cost reliable adaptive Cognitive Radio. In the master thesis, he worked on developing softcore processors on FPGA’s and in optimizing the applications in terms of their execution speed on Multi-Core Architecture. Also during his master studies, he designed two prototypes in the area of Internet of Things and Adaptive Embedded Systems with Department of Embedded Systems of Computer Science, UDE.
In April 2017, he has been appointed as a doctoral candidate in DSV, UDE. In this job, he is working on signal processing platform and cluster based interface for a Massive MIMO System with an objective of Indoor Localisation.
